Swap safely
Swapito exists to take the pressure out of collecting. These are the ground rules that keep it friendly for everyone.
Post it, or meet in public
Postage is the safest option: a padded envelope and a stamp gets a collectible anywhere in Australia. If you'd rather meet, choose a busy public place such as the front of a shopping centre during trading hours, and take another adult with you.
Swaps only. No payments.
Swapito never processes money for a collectible. If a trader asks you to pay, send a gift card, or move to another app to "buy" an item, stop and report them to us. Swapito is free, so we never ask you for money either.
Keep personal details in the swap chat
Share your postal address only after both traders have agreed the swap, and only inside the Swapito chat. Never share it in a public listing, and never share children's names, schools or photos of children.
What Swapito is responsible for
Swapito is a noticeboard that helps traders find each other. We are not a party to any swap, we do not inspect, hold, post or insure items, and we cannot guarantee that a trader will honour a swap. Swaps are made entirely at your own risk. Ratings and completed-swap counts are there to help you decide who to trust, so please use them, and report anyone who doesn't follow through.
